Modified cattle care & showmanship for special needs!
What we do
•Special needs individuals will interact with miniature cattle and cattle showman instructors to acquire communication, socialization, motor control and sensory processing skills while having fun.
• Each special needs individual will meet and emotionally bond with their assigned miniature cow to help lead to social and communication skill production.
• Each special needs individual will learn responsibility by learning how to feed, water, and bathe their assigned miniature cow.
• Each special needs individual will experience physical communication with the miniature cow through brushing, hugging and petting.
• Each special needs individual will learn to follow directions through a fun activity from the cattle showman instructors by learning how to lead their miniature cow with a halter. The special needs individual will have an experienced cattleman with them while working with their miniature cow at all times.
• Each special needs individual will gain self-esteem by engaging in an activity in which they feel accomplish and excited.
• Each special needs individual will gain discipline and empathy through these activities in an environment outside of their familiar one while getting to experience joy.
